For one special night, the Eastern Shard at Federation Square in Melbourne will be transformed into a glittering canvas of light and live performance, revealing the majesty – and dark underbelly – of life on the Great Barrier Reef.
Aerial performers will use art to express their resistance to the industrialisation of the Reef. Flying high above the ground, these acrobats will defy gravity and move against a backdrop of projected animation.
Join the crowd and let yourself be transported to this Reef underwater world. Find out if you, and the performers, can bring the Reef back to life.
When: 6-6.30pm Thursday 11 June, 2015.
Location: St Paul’s Court, Federation Square, (northwest corner of Fed Square, next to the Melbourne Visitor Centre), Melbourne
Cost: Free – RSVP below!
Not in Melbourne? Never fear, you can watch the action live from anywhere in the world! Stay tuned to our Twitter or Facebook page to find out how.
