Woodside is Australia’s biggest climate threat. Its monstrous Burrup Hub gas project would belch out 6.1 billion tonnes of climate pollution between now and 2070. Woodside's aggressive expansion into new gas stands in stark contradiction to Australia's net zero emissions goals. These large-scale gas projects not only lock in decades of high carbon emissions but also undermine global efforts to combat climate change. The Burrup Hub – which includes the Scarborough and Browse offshore gas field – is also a huge threat to our oceans, especially to the iconic Scott Reef.
